Whether you’re just passing through or a longtime friend, welcome home—welcome to our place!

We wanted a restaurant that would naturally welcome you, one that embodies true simplicity and a sincere commitment to high quality; we found it on the banks of the Lauch River in Colmar’s Petite-Venise neighborhood.

For nearly 13 years, L’Épicurien has been a warm and welcoming spot where people love to return. The menu reflects this philosophy of enjoying fine cuisine and great wines—a tradition that spans the ages. Chef Nicolas Groell brings out the best in carefully selected ingredients. Notable dishes include: “Highland Longhorn beef entrecôte,” “southwestern duck foie gras with black olives and candied lemon,” “organic farm-fresh egg in meurette sauce with mushrooms and Colmar bacon,” “House-made fries cooked in goose fat.”

As for the multi-award-winning wine list, it features nearly 500 selections, including some hidden gems and other rarities.
