6717 Nature Hôtel Spa Alsace

The timeless nature and relaxation getaway

The former Clos des Délices, now renamed Le 6717 Nature Hôtel & Spa, has a rich cultural heritage. This former convent of Benedictine nuns was bought in 1986 by Désiré Schaetzel, the current owner, and transformed into a charming hotel. Keen to preserve the soul and history of the place, Mr. Schaetzel chose to keep the 21 rooms where the 21 sisters once slept.

In 2019, major work is underway to build the new suites and spa area, opening onto nature.

In the restaurant, talented chefs Régis Dell and Audrey Stippich draw their inspiration from nature. Local produce, fresh herbs from the garden and vegetables from the Stippich farm in Matzenheim, owned by the chef’s family, are the jewels in their crown.

At lunchtime, the offer takes the form of suggested dishes and a buffet of starters and desserts. In the evenings, gourmet cuisine is offered in a unique menu tailored to the chefs’ whims.

The hotel offers a highly-equipped relaxation spa area to help you make the most of your stay. The spa features an outdoor pool and rooftop Jacuzzi, open only in summer; and all year round, an indoor pool, whirlpools, sauna and sanarium, etc., with immersive views of the surrounding nature. You can also relax in the large hammam, with direct access to the pool, and cool off in the snow fountain after a session. The sensory experience trail promises a truly timeless escape, while the outdoor relaxation room and salt grotto provide calm and serenity.

At the same time, the institute offers a range of personalized treatments and massages in collaboration with the Payot brand.

For the festive season, think of our gift boxes: Breakfast & Spa, Dayspa (including lunch buffet) or Spa & Diner, as well as gourmet and holiday gift boxes, to offer to your friends and family.
