Jean Winter

Chef at the Auberge de l'ill

Originally from Moselle, Jean Winter trained at l’Arnsbourg with Jean-George Klein in Baerenthal, at Fernand Mischler’s Cheval Blanc in Lembach and at Julien’s in Strasbourg.
He then worked in the Prime Minister’s kitchens before joining the Auberge de l’Ill in Illhaeusern in 1998.
Marc Haeberlin’s loyal chef is also a passionate music fan, pianist and DJ!
Jean Winter is a fixture at all the best parties in Alsace.
