A Proust kitchen
Located in the heart of Mulhouse, l’Oxalis is much more than just a restaurant: it’s a veritable ode to gastronomy, symbolized to perfection by the eponymous plant, both edible and aesthetic, which perfectly embodies the cuisine of chef Rosalie Gasser. Nestled in the former Chez Auguste brewery, this iconic venue harmoniously blends tradition and modernity, capturing both the brilliant vestiges of the past and the promising future ahead.
After working with establishments such as Le Bistrot d’Oscar, II Cortile and 800°, a luxury meat restaurant in Switzerland, Rosalie realized her childhood dream and opened her restaurant L’Oxalis last October. In addition, the chef takes us back to her childhood memories, revisiting forgotten dishes made by instinct from the finest local produce gleaned from the seasons: “Cannelloni de pot-au-feu”, “Poireaux-vinaigrette en tarte Tatin”, or “Cromesquis d’épaule d’agneau confite”, reminiscent of Sunday lunchtimes at her parents’ house.
