Pâtisserie Dany Husser, founded in 1927, is a renowned Guebwiller institution. This family-run business, rooted in tradition and innovation, has welcomed a prominent new member: self-taught chef Stéphane Schober, who brings his unique and creative touch to the patisserie kitchens, after a 35-year career in the dining room.
The chef began his career alongside Mr. and Mrs. Schaetzel at L’Hostellerie des Châteaux in Ottrott, before joining chef Hervé Paulus’ team at L’Hostellerie Paulus in Landser. He later continued at Le Petit Prince restaurant with Laurent Haller in Habsheim, following him to Le 7e Continent in Rixheim. He then opened Le Petit Paris in Mulhouse, with team-mate chef Loïc Paugain, before moving on to Pâtisserie Dany Husser, in Guebwiller, to offer sweet and savoury dishes.
In 2012, the family-run patisserie took another step forward by opening a store in Mulhouse. This expansion testifies to the popularity and recognized quality of Pâtisserie Dany Husser.
At Pâtisserie Dany Husser, Stéphane Schober has found the right environment to fully express his creativity. It offers both sweet and savoury food, available to eat in or take away. The menu changes daily and is entirely home-made, using fresh produce. This choice reflects a culinary philosophy focused on the quality and seasonality of ingredients.
Spring is a particularly inspiring season for Schober and his brigade. Asparagus, morels, pink trout and early vegetables invade the kitchens, allowing the chef to play with colors, textures and flavors. This time of year sees the birth of culinary creations as beautiful as they are delicious, a testament to the talent and passion that drive Stéphane Schober.
