The Cave de Ribeauvillé was the first wine cooperative in France to be founded, in 1895, under German impetus. The only one with “récoltant” status, this Maison de vignerons has maintained its small structure since its origins, with virtually the same member families and the same surface area under vine: 41 families for 250 ha.
The first to obtain HVE level 3 certification, the Cave de Ribeauvillé offers terroir wines, including 7 Grands Crus, 7 Lieux-dits and 3 village appellations, which follow a strict quality charter. Created through meticulous plot selection, manual harvesting and exceptional geology, each of the 74 annual cuvées has its own unique identity.
