In the 1980s, Claude and Chantal, the bearers of this inherited passion, took over the reins of the estate with infinite devotion, even moving the cellar to facilitate access. This transition marks the beginning of a new era for the estate, marked by a commitment to quality and respect for age-old traditions.
Maxime and Laetitia, heirs to this line of passionate winegrowers, take over from them. They bring a new energy to the estate, while preserving the values and know-how handed down from generation to generation. Proud members of the Haut-Koenigsbourg wine brotherhood, Domaine Bleger embodies the authenticity and soul of Alsace’s winegrowing heritage, while embracing the challenges of modernity.

The estate’s 10 hectares of vineyards stretch over several terroirs in the communes of Bergheim, Orschwiller, Orschwihr and Saint-Hippolyte, each bringing its own identity to the wine produced. From sandy soils to granitic arenas, these varied terroirs give Domaine Bleger wines a unique palette of flavors and aromas. Cuvées such as Rouge de Saint-Hippolyte, Riesling Vieilles Vignes and Grand Cru Altenberg à Bergheim bear witness to this richness and diversity.
Committed to respecting nature, Domaine Bleger favors low yields to produce exceptional wines. Some cuvées are vinified in barrels, adding an extra dimension to their character. The domaine’s objective is clear: to raise its wines to the highest levels of quality while remaining accessible to all, thus perpetuating the family heritage with passion and dedication.
