Best apprentice butchers and caterers

Each year, the National Competition of the Best Apprentices of France Charcutiers Traiteurs (MAF) crowns the best young talents in the field.

The 51st edition of the competition brought together 19 apprentice professionals, between 16 and 21 years old. Five of them received the title of Best Apprentice of France Charcutier Traiteur 2022: the case of the Alsatian Antoine Eckert at Eckert Traiteur which proved itself during the 3 requested productions (a rabbit pâté terrine with prunes, a seafood dessert and two chocolate tarts).
