Chef Doucet’s philosophy has guided the new decoration of the restaurant dining room: light tones of beige and white create a simple and elegant space. Here, in the heart of the village of Charolles, a sense of tranquility and well-being prevails, enhanced by rays of natural light. In the evening, subtle lighting reveals the intimacy of the place. The tableware also combines light tones. A decorative piece from the Charolles pottery adorns each table with finesse.
On fine days, the restaurant’s terrace serves as a peaceful and cozy setting for your tastings. The stone walls reveal their charm, and kiwi trees provide beautiful natural shade, under which one savors the pleasure of a gourmet break.

I left the family cocoon to attend the Grenoble hotel school in Lesdiguières. With my diploma in hand, I joined Pierre ORSI’s establishment in Lyon: a year and a half spent with a demanding, rigorous, and passionate chef. After the army, I discovered Paul BOCUSE’s universe in Lyon, then joined Troisgros in Roanne for two years.
Enriched by these experiences with renowned chefs, I returned to work with my parents. I was 24 years old and intended to leave again, but everything tied me to this Charolais terroir. I stayed and learned from them all aspects of managing an establishment.
When they retired, with the unwavering support of my wife, Anne, who supports me, advises me, and surrounds me with her energy, I bought the establishment in 2007, where I share with you my love for this generous and authentic region, inviting you to discover my culinary universe within a warm and elegant house…
