The Tellure Mining Park, located in Saint-Jean-d’Aulps, immerses you in the fascinating world of mining, discovering one of the richest industrial heritage sites in Alsace. Here, the history of silver and copper extraction is told through authentic underground galleries, dug over the centuries.
Accompanied by passionate guides, you can explore the mine galleries and relive the living and working conditions of the miners. The experience is also an opportunity to discover the tools used in the past and understand the extraction techniques that have marked the industrial evolution of the region.
Beyond the gallery tour, Tellure offers numerous interactive activities for the whole family. You can, for example, try your luck as a prospector searching for nuggets in streams, or observe the work of metal artisans who recreate period objects from metals extracted from the mines.
