All is delicacy and softness
The Maison des Têtes, a listed Renaissance residence richly decorated with grimacing faces, is just like Colmar: superb.
As soon as you cross the threshold of Restaurant Girardin, you are enveloped in a feeling of lightness and timeless purity.
The room is a subtle nuance of whites, a play of materials, textures and light through the period stained glass windows.
Everything is delicate and gentle.
No decoration… apart from the stellar, airy Bocci mouth-blown wall lamps. The room is a delicately minimalist setting for Chef Eric Girardin’s gourmet cuisine. A moment of authenticity and intimacy to be experienced in the shelter of the imposing alcove, all in scale-like fabrics, or comfortably seated around a small table with an immaculate white tablecloth perfectly laid out and highlighted by an equally white orchid.
To keep our promise of an authentic gastronomic experience in a cosy, personal atmosphere, Restaurant Girardin has only 18 seats and a limited number of guests at each table…

An opulent Renaissance façade and a very contemporary minimalist room.
Similarly, Eric Girardin’s gourmet cuisine marries contrasts to perfection, offering a cuisine rich in flavor and character.
When the monochrome of the plate – between white, earth and Sienna blue – meets the colors of the cooked products…
The artisan, passionate about the beautiful seasonal produce he sublimates every day, joins the artist who creates his plate.
His evolving cuisine makes local produce vibrate with inspiration and know-how.
In the spotlight: impeccably cooked fish, local meats, fragrant broths, seasonal vegetables, fruity and chocolatey sweets…
The Chef goes straight to the essence of each product.
