Domaine Paul Schneider

Located in EGUISHEIM, the cradle of Alsace’s vineyards, 5 kilometers southwest of Colmar, the Paul SCHNEIDER estate is established in a former provost courtyard dating from 1663. Our vineyard extends over 14 hectares, all of it in Appellation d’Origine Contrôlée (AOC). The remarkable terroirs and exceptional microclimate of our region enable us to cultivate the full range of Alsace wines, including three Grands Crus (Eicheberg, Pfersigberg, Steinert), two Crémants (white and rosé), Vendanges Tardives and Sélections de Grains Nobles, all of which are vinified using rigorous methods that combine traditional methods with modern techniques, thus preserving the typical character of our house. Hand-harvested grapes are pressed in a pneumatic press, vinification continues in a thermo-regulated stainless steel vat, and our wines are aged in almost century-old wooden tuns. All this know-how enables us to offer you wines with character that bring out the best in their terroirs and explode with flavour!
