The landscapes of the Munster Valley have been shaped by man. From the Crêtes Vosgiennes to the depths of the marcairies, flowers, cows and passionate marcaires reveal the secrets of their cheeses.
In the heart of the Munster Valley, La Maison du Fromage is a museum, a shop and a restaurant that promote the regional know-how of artisan cheesemakers. In a unique concept of catering / animation, the bistronomic cuisine of the establishment is tasted to the extent of a lounge atmosphere where time stops to give way to pleasure.
The museum offers an interactive tour of approximately 1.5 hours, including films, exhibitions, a visit to the stable, Munster cheese-making demonstrations, as well as a guided cheese tasting accompanied by a glass of wine or local syrup.
The admission fees are €9.00 for adults (over 14 years old) and €5.00 for children aged 4 to 14 years. Discounts are available for students, job seekers, and people with disabilities upon presentation of proof.
