The young Chef Rudy Villien, passionate about gastronomy since his earliest years, is at the helm of Le Charlemagne’s kitchen

Through his numerous experiences in very fine establishments, alongside many starred Chefs, Rudy Villien has been able to perfect his skills and advance in his quest and childhood dream: Opening his own restaurant.

After 24 years at the stove of his restaurant Le Charlemagne in Pernand-Vergelesses (21), starred chef Laurent Peugeot announces the handover of his establishment to Rudy Villien, his second-in-command since June 2021. The latter wishes to continue the work initiated by his predecessor with the same philosophy: a gastronomic and sustainable cuisine, highlighting local producers and fresh products from the establishment’s vegetable garden. Alongside Rudy Villien is his partner Léa Matéos, his right-hand woman in the restaurant.
