Between Tournus and Mâcon, in Montbellet, Elisabeth and Philippe Michel welcome you to an authentic Burgundy home. It was love at first sight that brought them to this charming corner of Saône-et-Loire in 2001. In the heart of the Burgundy vineyards, between great growths such as Pouilly-Fuissé or Viré-Clessé, discover a gastronomic address not to be missed in the Mâconnais, awarded a star in the Guide Michelin® since 2014.

At La Marande restaurant, enjoy seasonal cuisine, orchestrated with originality and savoir-faire by Chef Philippe Michel, Maître Cuisinier de France. In the elegant ambience of the dining rooms or on the terrace in the shade of the lime tree, dishes follow one another in a farandole of flavors combining Burgundian delights, French tradition and world influences.

The restaurant also welcomes receptions and group meals. Organize birthdays, christenings, family celebrations… La Marande can accommodate between 25 and 40 guests maximum. Combine refined cuisine with an enchanting setting to make your reception a real success.

Maître Cuisinier de France, Chef Philippe Michel has been running his restaurant’s kitchens since 2001. He trained with such prestigious names in gastronomy as Gérard Besson, Pierre Gagnaire, Pierre Hermé and Georges Wenger. Backed by this solid experience and a culinary tradition that combines know-how and discipline, he now delivers inspired cuisine that respects the seasons and the produce.

With his gastronomic restaurant in Burgundy, which he runs with his wife Elisabeth, the chef has gradually built up a fine reputation, which has earned him a star in the 2014 Michelin Guide and mentions in several guidebooks.
