In the heart of nature
We designed our inn with the ambition of making it a warm, friendly, comfortable and delectable place. The light wood frame, exposed stonework and walls clad in hemp and lime create a peaceful, soothing atmosphere. Soft tones and clean shapes let the nature we cherish express itself fully. Whether in the cosy lounge with its rustic charm, the modern and welcoming bar, or the sunny terrace dedicated to summer aperitifs, every space encourages sharing. This value of conviviality is also reflected in Sébastien’s bold, gourmet cuisine, harmoniously punctuated by the seasons and traditions.

A blend of classic and modern, the recipes of the Auberge Frankenbourg reflect the surrounding nature and the traditions dear to our family’s heart. Sébastien’s cuisine is lively, firmly rooted in the terroir but always open to the world. Learned from some of France’s top chefs, she forges her skills as she travels and discovers new things. It’s a cuisine from the heart, contemporary and traditional at the same time.
To extend your meal or marvel at the beauty of the landscape during your stay, take advantage of our 11 comfortable and elegant rooms. Particular attention has been paid to the use of noble materials and to both bedding and household linen. Pets are welcome at extra cost. We have a room for people with reduced mobility. Our breakfast is both gourmet and very personal. It features local products, homemade jams, ‘pure butter’ pastries, a variety of breads, beechwood-smoked salmon and cured meats. Dairy products are not to be outdone: yoghurt, farmhouse fromage frais and local cheeses will be your morning partners. Join us every morning from 8 to 10 a.m. in the Cocate lounge to get your day off to a great start!
