Brasserie Blessing is a craft microbrewery in Alsace Bossue, founded by Thomas and Nathalie Blessing. Their adventure began with a professional reconversion: Thomas, a biochemist and self-taught amateur brewer, and Nathalie, an architect, combined their skills to create the brewery in a converted old barn in the village where Thomas’ grandparents were born.
Brasserie Blessing was officially founded around ten years ago. From the outset, the brewery has emphasized the use of local and organic raw materials, contributing to the development of the brewing industry in Alsace and Lorraine. In particular, they worked with local producers to obtain organic malt and Alsatian hops.
The brewery is firmly committed to the local economy and sustainability. In addition to using local and organic raw materials, they take care to minimize their environmental impact at every stage of production.
The brewery produces a variety of craft beers, all certified organic, unfiltered and unpasteurized. The beers are brewed with four main ingredients: water from the Vosges, local malts, Alsatian hops, and different strains of yeast. Each beer is double-fermented, giving it natural carbonation and a distinctive aromatic richness.
The entire range has been brewed on site by Thomas and Nathalie since the beginning of the business.
