Created in 1988 by Jean-Paul and Muriel Roux, l’Atelier des Peupliers was taken over in 2021 by Patrick and Jeanne Florentz, and moved from the plains to the Vosges d’Alsace.
Today, Patrick and Jeanne have built up a historical repertoire of over 400 models of solid wood figurines and toys, in soft shapes and colors, which they develop with their own know-how and skills.
With a solid background in arts and crafts and educational pedagogy, they are taking advantage of this professional reconversion to combine their new creative freedom with their humanist and environmental concerns.
L’Atelier des Peupliers is an ecological and human project born of the need to reduce our environmental impact as much as possible, while associating sustainable development with the artisanal and artistic dimension.
We manufacture in short circuits, striving to highlight the nobility of wood, recycling materials and using environmentally-friendly finishing products.
The toys, figurines and furniture that come into being in our workshop are unique pieces for children and adults who want to give and handle quality handcrafted objects.
