LEGACY AND culinary traditions

In an old house from 1681, the Auberge du Cheval Blanc has seen 3 generations of the Weiss family since 1946. Sylvie and her brother Cyril perpetuate the know-how of their parents and invite their guests to savor a traditional and gourmet gastronomy. From French classics to Alsatian specialties – such as calf’s head with Gribiche sauce, trout fillet with Riesling, Alsatian dumpling salad (lawerknepfla) or Baeckeoffa – the establishment honors local products, such as peasant vegetables from Zillisheim and Sundgauvian fish from Bihl’s in Friesen
