After his studies at the Condé vocational high school in Besançon, Marc FAIVRE went to learn from great chefs: Henri Seguin at Le Pressoir in Paris, The Carlton in Lausanne, Jacques Lameloise in Chagny, Pierre Gagnaire in St-Etienne, Georges Blanc in Vonnas.

Enriched by these various experiences, Marc returns home with his head full of ideas.

In 1989, Marc and his wife Catherine took over the family business “Le Bon Accueil” in Malbuisson, with the firm intention of sharing their passion, their love for the profession, and their respect for products. For 25 years now, they have been transforming the hotel-restaurant into a gourmet destination while carefully preserving the soul and simplicity of this beautiful establishment.

Awarded a Michelin star in 2000, then three Gault Millau toques in 2009, “Le Bon Accueil” aims to be a true contemporary inn.
