Change of scenery guaranteed at Il Cortile restaurant in Mulhouse

Chef Jean-Michel Feger develops authentic, fresh and creative Mediterranean cuisine in a subtle and contemporary setting, surrounded by the last ramparts of Mulhouse, where the scents of lemon and orange trees intermingle.

In the heart of Old Mulhouse, emanates a delicate aroma of refined and creative Mediterranean cuisine that fits perfectly with the local terroir. This is the Mediterranean restaurant Il Cortile. Succeeding the D’Onghia family, Jean-Michel Feger, chef awarded one star in the Michelin guide and in the kitchen since the restaurant opened in 2001, took up the torch of the establishment in early 2018. From this revival, a passionate cuisine is born. Simpler and more generous, like the chef. Also a less solemn and warmer service that will delight regulars and newcomers alike.

With great means, good menus

The Mediterranean restaurant Il Cortile in Mulhouse offers inventive and fragrant cuisine, not to be missed for meat and fish lovers . Chef Jean-Michel Feger is expanding his menu with two new menus. In addition to the business menu – available for lunch during the week, from Tuesday to Friday – and the “La petite cour” menu, the “Riviera” and “Cortile” menus open up the pleasures.

If we had to remember only three creations of the restaurant, we have excellent memories of these dishes: the Vitello tonnato, celery, capers and dried tomato. Followed by a Supreme of squab, carrot and yuzu, chanterelle mushrooms and elderflower vinegar juice. To end with the biscuit with olive oil, strawberries and basil mousse.

Mediterranean restaurant: it looks like the South…

Nino Ferrer’s song accompanies the idea that we have of this oasis surrounded by the last ramparts of the city. The Mediterranean restaurant in Mulhouse undoubtedly has the most beautiful terrace in the city. Open until the end of August, it is a quiet corner exposed to the scents of lemon and orange trees. The terrace invites you to take a delicious trip to the shores of the Mediterranean. One could even believe that it is a creation of Heaven!
