Originally from the Lower Rhine, but adopted by the Upper Rhine, the director of the Conseil Interprofessionnel des Vins d’Alsace has the region at heart.
A former manager at the Alsace Chamber of Agriculture, he was seduced by the challenge presented to him by a new generation of wine professionals.
Six years on, the vineyard has collectively reinvented itself and is making a name for itself the world over.
