First installed in Mulhouse and later moved to Sausheim in 2008, the Cave des Vins Henner has many references to discover in a beautiful space dedicated to sharing the passion for wine.
At the Cave des Vins Henner, you will find more than 1000 references, including 750 wine references, and 250 references of spirits and eaux-de-vie. We find the great classics but also rare wines as well as splendid little known gems. Emmanuel Nasti himself went to meet independent producers to propose an original selection that resembles him.
The winery brings together many talented winemakers and promoters of biodynamic culture to enjoy tasting and discovery sessions where the passion for wine reigns. At Les Vins Henner, local wines are highlighted, because they may be part of the renowned wines of tomorrow. The winery is in perpetual search for discovery, the love of wine is not elitist, it lies in the sharing and passion of all winemakers and consumers who enjoy venturing towards new experiences.
This summer, the favorite goes to the IGP Méditerranée Triennes Rosé 2018, an elegant wine with marshmallow accents that will accompany all your barbecues. Other gourmet references await you in this cellar, for even more conviviality at the table.
AN AUTHENTIC SIGN
In 1979, Georges Henner took over the family business created by his grandfather before the Second World War. It was the desire to preserve the legacy of his grandfather – who pushed the barrels with the strength of his arms – that encouraged Georges to take over the sign. The “Marchand de Vin” store in Mulhouse is therefore quickly talked about and attracts an audience of lovers of the diversified selections it offers and its proximity to producers.
As a good enthusiast, Georges Henner is well informed about the wines he offers and does his best to have direct contact with the winegrowers which brings him a real asset and the success that goes with it. He collaborates with many restaurateurs and gastronomes who visit this wine merchant with a new vision.
CHANGE OF PLACE, BUT NOT OF SPIRIT
The brand then changes location to Sausheim to take advantage of a larger space and to facilitate access to the brand. More than 700 m² are used to develop the collection. Spirits are also enriched with the addition of new references as well as exclusive whiskies and bourbons such as very renowned Japanese labels.
It is since April 1, 2016 that Emmanuel Nasti is the new owner of the company Henner Wine merchant located in Sausheim in a magnificent cellar with contemporary decoration installed in the Espale area, facing the island Napoleon. Emmanuel Nasti knows the brand well and is determined to keep what defines it, that is to say a house of sharing and accessible discoveries.
Events between wine enthusiasts
In addition to maintaining the Henner spirit, Emmanuel Nasti develops the place by setting up events with themes such as food and wine pairings, blind tastings or events with winemakers. The open days, which are organized each year in collaboration with many winemakers from all over the France are an unparalleled success. With his experience as a sommelier, Emmanuel Nasti goes to meet new restaurateurs and hoteliers, which is reminiscent of the method of his predecessor. At his table, professionals, amateurs and beginners meet with passion to sympathize and exchange their knowledge of good wines in a unique moment of sharing.
