Hace dos a\u00f1os, tuve la oportunidad de hacerme cargo de 1,5 ha de vi\u00f1edos (situados principalmente en las laderas del Rittersberg, en Scherwiller, en el Bajo Rin) y este a\u00f1o, hemos tenido la suerte de adquirir otra 1 ha de vi\u00f1as viejas (70 a\u00f1os) de rielsing y pinot noir en Nothalten y Blienschwiller. \n\nCon la inestimable ayuda de mi marido, que ha sido viticultor en una finca biodin\u00e1mica durante 20 a\u00f1os, las vi\u00f1as se cultivan de forma ecol\u00f3gica y biodin\u00e1mica.\n\nMi objetivo es cuidar las vi\u00f1as para que me den uvas de gran calidad, porque para m\u00ed es una base esencial para hacer buenos vinos.\n\nCuidar las vi\u00f1as significa, en primer lugar, conocerlas observ\u00e1ndolas. Despu\u00e9s, significa realizar todos los trabajos de la temporada, adaptando cada uno de ellos a las condiciones clim\u00e1ticas de la vendimia para apoyar a la vid y permitirle encontrar su equilibrio en todas las circunstancias. Por \u00faltimo, significa crear un entorno propicio para su desarrollo, un entorno rebosante de vida donde plantas y animales vivan en simbiosis. Por eso, la primavera pasada plant\u00e9 unos cincuenta \u00e1rboles y arbustos mel\u00edferos e instal\u00e9 una colmena en mi parcela de Rittersberg.   \n\nEn la bodega, mi objetivo es intervenir lo menos posible para obtener vinos expresivos que se parezcan a las vides de las que proceden. Creo que mi papel es acompa\u00f1ar a los vinos como he acompa\u00f1ado a las vides. Esto requiere tiempo y observaci\u00f3n, una buena dosis de confianza en uno mismo y a veces, lo menos posible, una peque\u00f1a dosis de sulfitos. No rehuyo esta opci\u00f3n si, a pesar de todos mis cuidados, un vino lo necesita.
