The Young Winegrowers of Alsace had the ambitious idea of building a cartographic atlas of Alsatian terroirs. It includes more than 350 places in use. No less than four years have been necessary for the elaboration of this mapping. The latter is available for purchase on their website www.jeunesvignerons.alsace.
The Young Winegrowers of Alsace is about fifty members under 40 years old, all independent winegrowers. They share the same desire to produce terroir wines.
Thanks to their involvement, this map atlas offers an accurate census of all the plots in use in the region. The Young Winemakers are not to be outdone, they are preparing their next Atlas including a geological layer and they are working on an interactive application, so they are in the era of time.
