The restaurant “L’Olivier” revisits the greatest classics to make you discover their vision of modern cuisine. For this, he cooks carefully with fresh and seasonal products.
After touring the great houses of Alsace, Chef Olivier Lamard and his wife Peggy set up on their own in 2018 out of a passion for taste and service. L’Agneau d’Or in Munster then becomes L’Olivier. This thanks to numerous renovations in the dining room and in the kitchen, and a menu revisited to the taste of the chef.

Always with a smile, Peggy Lamard invites you to take a seat in a cozy setting. The cuisine of the simple but modern Munster restaurant transports you to a moment of pure pleasure.

Before settling in Munster, Olivier Lamard studied in starred establishments in the region: the Nouvelle Auberge in Wihr-au Val, La Table du Gourmet in Riquewihr and at Julien Binz in Ammerschwihr.

The Chef’s experience and his desire to make beautiful dishes, direct him to modern French cuisine worked with fine French and local products, collaborating in particular with cheese makers, a fish farmer, an ice cream parlor, and a breeder from the Valley of Munster. Olivier Lamard likes to revisit the great classics of gastronomy, like “zander on sauerkraut” which he accompanies “zander dumplings and hash brown potatoes and served on organic sauerkraut wrapped in bacon. »

The editorial staff had feasted on its semi-cooked IGP duck Foie Gras marinated in mulled wine, to be paired with a Pinot Noir Saint Grégoire 2017, Schoenheitz Alsatian wines from Wihr-au-Val.

IN WINTER

For the end-of-year celebrations, the restaurant l’Olivier invites you to enjoy their products such as salmon smoked by them, foie gras plain or marinated in mulled wine or even smoked duck breast.

IN SPRING

In this mild season, come and discover spring dishes such as sea bream tartar, shallot espuma, herb salad.

On the sweet side, succumb to roasted pineapple, Arlette, rum-pineapple candy and vanilla ice cream.
