Enjoy an Alsatian beer at the foot of the vineyards
BRASSERIE AND BIERGARTEN IN RIQUEWIHR AT THE FOOT OF THE VINEYARDS
In 1998, Gilbert Holl invested in a former car garage, in the heart of the vineyard, to produce his “HollBeer” and make a malt must that will allow him to distill the first Alsatian whisky.
In 2015, Jérôme Schwartz continues this story with a new chapter: Bra’V, the brewery of the Vineyard. It takes root at the foot of the Grand Cru Schœnenbourg, in Riquewihr.
This beer factory is appreciated for its magnificent biergarten at the foot of the vineyards. La Bra’V is also a bar and shop offering its range of beers on tap and bottled.
After managing several restaurants, the challenge for Jérôme Schwartz was all found! Appreciating the socializing power of beer, he strives to transmit to his customers, the pleasure of exchange and sharing, and to perpetuate the precious know-how of the former owner.
A VARIED RANGE AT THE BRASSERIE DE RIQUEWIHR
The Bra’V offers different ranges: the classic (blonde, white, amber, IPA, brown), the seasonal (spring beer, Christmas, crémant beer), the ephemeral and original (sour ale, smoked beer, triple …).
This winter, Christmas beer is back (Silver Medal of the National Competition France Beer Challenge 2020), as well as, Bière au crémant for beautiful festive tables.
THE EDITOR’S FAVOURITE
The dorf Briader, pale ale, 5%, is the most consumed blonde of the brewery of the vineyard.
Imagined as a traditional Alsatian beer, with good “drinkability”, balanced bitterness and taste, in perfect harmony.
The aromas of hops forge fruity and floral notes without saturating the palate. It is the ideal companion in the village, a socializing and generous beer.
