The Trimbach estate has excelled since 1626

Recognizable with its two magnificent half-timbered turrets, at the northern entrance of Ribeauvillé, the Trimbach estate is an institution born in 1626, in which 13 generations of the Trimbach family have succeeded.

Since 2008, the 58 ha of the estate have been progressively converted to organic farming, starting with the Clos Ste Hune, of which the estate has a monopoly and which is one of the greatest Rieslings in the world. The certification will be effective in 2023 for the whole estate, with a complementary supply of grapes, also turned towards organic farming. Moreover, the new generation is moving towards biodynamic principles to which they are sensitive.

After 10 years of research and development, the property proudly presents its new labels. First, the Frédéric Émile 2013 vintage, then the Sylvaner Weinbaum 2020, as well as the brand new Riesling 390ème Anniversaire, 2016 vintage, whose design pays homage to the diversity of soils, terroirs, and parcels of Alsace. Let’s be patient, a nice surprise is lining the 2019 Clos Ste Hune centennial vintage, which will be released in a few years.
