Nach einem DUT in Maschinenbau und Produktionstechnik und seiner Leidenschaft f\u00fcr die Metallurgie und die Verarbeitung von Stahl praktizierte er die Messerherstellung parallel zu seiner beruflichen Karriere als leitender Angestellter im Handel f\u00fcr etwa 30 Jahre.
